SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS:
How to send it? Here’s the answer! Address is at the bottom, because we want you to read this first! It’s
important because we handle LOTS of radios and we want to keep things straight!
Step One: Tell us WHO YOU ARE and WHAT YOU NEED.
Whoopee -- a FORM! Address (if you want it back), phone number (so we can bug you with questions), e-mail (if legible we’ll send you return
tracking). Please check the options you want, leave blank those you don’t. That’s it! Print, fill out, enclose with the radio.
Step Two: Payment so we can pay the electric bill.
Yes, it’s required before we begin, just like your bank, for the same reasons. Credit
card or check.
Check: Best to check with us for the correct amount, the bookkeepers get really mad if it’s a
penny off. Make payable to Tayman Electrical. Enclose with radio and order form.
Credit Card: MC, VISA, Discover, AMEX. We authorize the card before we start, charge it
when we’re done. Use a separate piece of paper so we can shred it later. We don’t charge
extra for the card because we’re nice. Number, Expiration, CVV Code, billing ZIP. You can call
us if you prefer, but PLEASE don’t wait for us to call -- it could take awhile. Don’t use e-mail
for credit card, not secure.
As always, if you have questions please contact us! 941-371-8924 (M-F 8:30-5:00 Eastern
Time), radio@garytayman.com
Step Three: Pack the radio carefully! Don’t destroy it before we get it!
Thisis not hard; follow along.
Ideal!
Bad News!
Pictures are worth a thousand words!
Damage occurs when the radio hits the cardboard box. Good packing means, don’t let the radio touch the box!
•
Use a sturdy box that provides at least two inches on every side of the set, including top and bottom.
•
Use enough packing (bubble wrap, kraft paper) so you can close the box, shake it, and it feels like a brick -- nothing moves!
•
That’s it! Stick a label on it and send it off!
•
Please DON’T go crazy with tape inside, as it does NOTHING once the box is closed -- but makes it nearly impossible to unwrap.
•
Please DON’T stick tape to the radio, if you don’t want a sticky gooey mess!
•
DON’T USE A USPS MEDIUM FLAT RATE BOX! Too small, ripe for damage.
•
Double boxing not necessary, but if you do please use the above guidelines on the INNER box. Remember the cardboard rule.
Remember, following these instructions is our best way to ensure the best service and fastest turnaround!
